lifting table according to RD 1215\/1997<\/strong> in a company of the <strong>automotive sector<\/strong> located in Sabadell.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project was approached from the following areas <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/prodengroup.com\/en\/soluciones\/engineering\/\">ENGINEERING<\/a><\/strong> and later <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/prodengroup.com\/en\/soluciones\/adequa\/\">ADEQUA<\/a><\/strong>ensuring a technical approach, progressive and aligned with current regulations.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the <strong>compliance of the lifting table according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/buscar\/doc.php?id=BOE-A-1997-17824\">RD 1215\/1997<\/a><\/strong> was designed considering the real use of the equipment and its integration in the production process.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although this action was carried out in Sabadell, PRODEN GROUP develops similar projects <strong>throughout Catalonia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ENGINEERING phase: technical analysis of the lift table<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Risk assessment and regulatory requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First of all, the project was initiated from the <a href=\"https:\/\/prodengroup.com\/en\/soluciones\/engineering\/\">ENGINEERING<\/a> area, with a technical and preventive approach.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this purpose, a risk assessment of the lift table used for load handling was performed.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Likewise, the minimum requirements established in RD 1215\/1997 were verified. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/buscar\/doc.php?id=BOE-A-1997-17824\">RD 1215\/1997<\/a><\/strong> and the applicable <strong>Harmonized Standards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This analysis made it possible to identify the technical criteria necessary to define proportionate adequacy measures.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Definition of suitability criteria and solution design<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Regulatory framework and technical references<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on the previous analysis, adequacy criteria were defined in accordance with the reference standards.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Specifically, the following were considered:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/buscar\/doc.php?id=BOE-A-1997-17824\">RD 1215\/1997<\/a><\/strong>on work equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Directive 2006\/42\/EC<\/strong>, relating to machinery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>UNE-EN ISO 12100<\/strong>, for risk assessment and risk reduction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>UNE-EN ISO 14120<\/strong>, about guards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>UNE-EN ISO 13849-1<\/strong>, for safety functions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this way, a clear technical basis for subsequent actions was established.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ADEQUA Phase: execution of the conformity assessment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Technical actions implemented<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subsequently, the project advanced to the <a href=\"https:\/\/prodengroup.com\/en\/soluciones\/adequa\/\">ADEQUA<\/a> phase, with specific actions being carried out on the lifting table.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among others, the following interventions were carried out:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Installation of <strong>perimeter security fencing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incorporation of <strong>safety signage<\/strong> in accordance with regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Relocation of the electrical panel<\/strong> under the platform<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and installation of <strong>anti-trapping safety bellows<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Functional verification of the incorporated elements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These actions were carried out in a coordinated manner and aligned with the previous analysis.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applied methodology: consistency between engineering and suitability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Technical continuity and traceability of the project<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the key aspects of the project was the continuity between the engineering phase and the retrofit phase.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, consistency was ensured between the risk assessment and the measures finally implemented.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, this approach made it possible to apply proportionate solutions, avoiding unnecessary oversizing.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All actions were developed with clear technical criteria and documentary traceability.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Project benefits<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Improved operational safety<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project significantly improved safety conditions during the use of the lift table.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This reduced the risk of entrapment and access to hazardous areas.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Regulatory compliance<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The performance provides a sound technical basis for justifying compliance with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/buscar\/doc.php?id=BOE-A-1997-17824\">RD 1215\/1997<\/a><\/strong> and harmonized standards.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also facilitates the management of future inspections and audits.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Integration in the production process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The adaptation was designed considering the actual operation of the facility.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, the implemented solutions maintain the functionality of the equipment and its productive
