Last September 2 and 3, Proden Group had the opportunity to make a very special trip to visit companies and professionals of reference in sustainability and innovation. A journey that, beyond the meetings, has allowed us to reaffirm our conviction: many times we have talent and innovation close to us, and we do not always value it as it deserves.
Accompanied on this occasion by Joan Perona, partner of Proden Group, I resumed contacts from my previous professional stage. People with an admirable career that, based on years of dedication and experience, have established themselves as international references in what they do. Their vision, projects and commitment to sustainability are truly inspiring.
We were fortunate to talk with different professionals and organizations that are leading innovative projects in sustainability. Of all these visits, I would like to highlight two in particular for the impact of their initiatives and the inspiration they generated:
Encounters that leave their mark
- Pedro Olivares of Texlimca
Texlimca is a pioneer in the recycling and recovery of textile waste in Spain, since 1945, when Pedro Martínez and Dolores Motilla started a business activity dedicated to the collection of used clothing, footwear, leather, etc. Today, their work goes beyond the collection and classification of clothing: they transform materials into new raw materials and promote the circular economy in the textile sector. With 80 years of experience!!! they combine technological innovation and social commitment to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry and promote a more responsible consumption. An example of how dedication and experience can transform industries and generate positive impact on society. Thank you Pedro Olivares. - Isabel Castillo
During our visit with Isabel Castillo, an expert with years of experience in sustainability and corporate responsibility, we had the opportunity to exchange ideas about where sustainability is headed in companies. Her strategic perspective and deep knowledge of the topic enriched the conversation, reminding us of the importance of generating a positive impact on industry and society from a global approach. Thank you @isabel Castillo
Shared learning
The conversations with all of them were deeply enriching. The exchange of ideas, opinions, and experiences encourage us to continue working with determination to build responsible businesses with a positive impact, even in a context full of challenges.
This trip makes it clear that sustainability is not just a trend: it is a way of understanding business and society, with innovation and commitment as the cornerstones.
At Proden Group we are convinced that this path can only be traveled through sustainable leadership, accompanying organizations and teams in the transformation towards more responsible, resilient models that are aligned with global challenges. Our mission is to continue driving this leadership, generating a positive impact on both industry and society.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion. We are sure that this kind of meetings leave a mark and inspire us to continue transforming the future together.
