The project has required a comprehensive technical approach to ensure compliance with the following key regulations:
- RD 1215/1997 on minimum safety conditions for work equipment.
- Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
- UNE-EN ISO 13849-1 and 13849-2, international references for safety functions.
In addition, from the initial analysis to the issuance of the certificate of conformity, PRODEN Group has deployed a methodical, results-oriented work plan adapted to the actual plant conditions.
Project phases: security applied step by step
The process has been structured in different technical stages, among which the following stand out:
- Risk assessment and initial regulatory audit
- Assessment of the required and existing Performance Level (PLr)
- Validation of control safety systems
- Design of specific corrective solutions
- Elaboration of LOTO procedures (LockOut-TagOut)
- Drafting of EC technical dossier and declaration of conformity
- Issuance of the final certificate in accordance with RD 1215/1997.
