Proden Group has successfully executed an internal traffic safety project in an industrial facility characterized by particularly harsh and demanding conditions.

Spaces characterized by adverse conditions, high load movement, blind spots and poor visibility, as well as intense movement of people, vehicles and goods.
The main objective has been to protect workers and optimize the safe coexistence between people and industrial vehicles.

A multidisciplinary work

The development of the project has counted on the collaboration and synergy of the Preventing, Engineering and Adequa areas of Proden Group, which has made it possible to cover all phases, from risk identification to the implementation of the most innovative solutions.

Methodology used:

The project began with an exhaustive analysis of traffic flows and risks using the HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) methodology, which made it possible to identify the critical points and specific needs of the client.

After a rigorous traffic study, the most critical actions were prioritized in a measurable way, allowing us to measure the positive impact of the implemented solutions on improving security.

Implemented solutions:

• High-strength safety barriers: Installation of physical barriers in the areas most exposed to forklift and pedestrian traffic, defining and separating each zone according to the risk analysis performed.
• LED signaling systems: In areas where conventional horizontal signaling is ineffective due to dirt and abrasion of the ground, LED projectors have been installed to enhance visibility and safety, ensuring regulatory compliance even in adverse conditions.
• Customization and integration: All solutions have been fully adapted to the customer’s specific environment and needs, guaranteeing maximum efficiency and durability.

Result:

This project allows our client to measurably increase the level of safety, reduce potential accidents and improve internal traffic management in a truly challenging environment.
